I just want to also take a moment to thank everyone that has made this symposium possible,
especially for someone like myself who had the privilege of having a scholarship in order to
attend this amazing, mind-blowing symposium. It was my first time attending, and I sure hope
it is not my last time! As a counselor in training and currently in grad school, I am extremely
motivated and hopeful to know that we are all capable of making great, positive impact on the
lives of our students and clients. The speakers have all inspired me in more than one way!
THANK YOU!!
Thank you for another wonderful conference. Calciano conferences are always of the highest quality – so relevant and informative!
Incredibly valuable and insightful information from all presenters. Really appreciate the
attention to brain research as well as attention to bias and sociocultural trauma.
Thank you to the Nadherny Calciano Family for their continued support of this wonderful tradition.
All the presenters were wonderful! Very knowledgeable and gave real world ideas to improve my practice.
I really enjoyed and appreciated the diverse range of speakers, especially in comparison to
last year’s presenters. I thought it was so great hearing first hand from a community member
with lived experience of trauma as well as all culturally humble speakers.
Huge thanks to everyone who contributed to this year’s Calciano Youth Symposium. Having
the community resource room was, as always, valuable. The opportunity to network with
colleagues, face-to-face, was so welcome. Having organized hundreds of events over my
career, I appreciate the incredible attention to detail that made the event flow so smoothly.
Many thanks. I’ll be back next year, most gladly!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the continued excellent learning on youth mental health.
I absolutely loved this more experiential training. My heart was open and mind full, and I did learn a lot throughout the day. The material was as relevant for our work with teens as it was for taking care of ourselves while doing so. It was a great day!
I really felt that the event itself helps give a sense of belonging to those of us working to support youth in our community.
This is the best educational opportunity every year!
